If you are interested in becoming a foster home please fill out the following form and press the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the page. Someone will give you a call very soon. A home check and vet reference will be required to be considered as a foster home. Thanks for wanting to help us save a life.

Why do you want to foster an animal ? As with any rescue animal, AAR animals may not be housebroken, may have been abused in the past. In some cases, these problems may not be realized until after the dog has been placed in it's new foster home.
If you are approved for a foster home would you be willing to work with this animals?
Many of these animals will require medical care. Since AARescue covers all medical treatment, you must be willing to use the vet approved by AARescue. This may require you do drive to a vet who is not in your area. Would you be willing to transport the animal to the approved vet?
Do you understand and accept that changing an animal's environment may cause the animal to have accidents, especially in the early days of the adoption? Do you currently have a pet? If yes, how many pets do you have? If yes, how long have you had them? If you do not currently have a pet, have you had a pet in the past 3 years? Have your pets been spayed or neutered? If not, why? Who is your Veterinarian? What is your Veterinarian's phone number? Will the pet be kept Inside, Outside, or Both? Will the pet sleep Inside or Outside? What will you do with your pet if you move or change housing? Have you adopted a pet from a shelter or rescue before?
I have read the above information carefully and have filled out this application honestly. I understand that there is no guarantee made or implied that any person requesting to foster an animal will be allowed to foster. All decisions on adoptions are subjected to the approval of Alabama Animal Rescue. I understand that if I do foster, I agree to the terms and conditions established by Alabama Animal Rescue. I agree that any animal that I foster will be spayed or neutered. I agree to allow Alabama Animal Rescue to contact my current or previous veterinarians as deemed necessary in order to check my current or past records. .
