Meet Leroy!!  He has lived his entire life alone in a pen for six years.   It turns out that not only has Leroy been alone in the pen for six years, the owners of the house actually moved out three years ago, so he has been in that pen behind an empty house for three years. When we got him out of the pen, on a leash, it was pretty obvious we would not need to crate him for the ride, he would rather be huddled next to a body. He was not shy of people at all, quite the opposite. He did really well on a leash, not pulling, rather when he felt tension on the leash he would just stop. Soon we were able to walk around the yard. The car was something else, had to pick him up and lift him onto seat, but you can see from picture within a few minutes he was enjoying the car ride.

When we got to his foster home Leroy did not want to walk on the sidewalk, probably has never stepped on pavement. Then he had to be carried through the door into the building. Once inside, it didn't take long for him to become curious. He looked at a cat, showed interest in a chihuahua in a pen, would not allow a pit bull to sniff his butt, but was not at all aggressive. In less than five minutes he was doing great in his new foster home.  As soon as we left, he started following Scott around and was making friends. Leroy will go to vet Tuesday for checkup and shots, and he will be neutered the following Tuesday.

If you can open your heart and home to this beautiful boy please contact Bobbi at 205-999-6364 or email beeleevitonly@msn.com
