Princess Buttercup -- female -- 2 years old -- weighs 10 pounds (also overweight) -- spayed -- up to date on routine vaccinations -- not on heartworm preventative (owner is willing to take dog back to vet for hw test to verify current status).

Color: white

Breed: Chihuahua. Has been the Wells' dog since she was six weeks old. Is an inside dog. Owner reports that dog is good with adults; probably do better with children over the age of 10. Has not had much exposure to cats. Owner believes that she will probably not do well with cats. Her left hip causes her to limp. Owner believes that this is the result of jumping off a bed and hitting the ground. Dog was taken to the vet but vet said he was unable to find a source of the limp. Dog also has a back right kneecap that is displaced. Owner reports that vet examined dog and indicated surgery would be needed to repair the knee. Owner says she is unable to pay for surgery.
