Seth is a purebred shih tzu boy
surrendered to rescue by a breeder. He weighs 8 pounds and is 7
months old (estimated D.O.B.
10-19-07
). Seth has been neutered, brought up to date on his immunizations,
tested negative for heartworms and started on preventative. Seth has
had very little human contact and is very shy. He runs from his
foster mom but then turns around and wags his tail. Once he is
picked up, he likes to snuggle and gives kisses. He will not be an
instant lap baby, but he is young, and if you will give him a chance, he
will turn into the little prince he was meant to be. He does not
walk on a leash and so will need a securely fenced yard. He is doing
well learning about house training. He doesn't ask to go outside,
but if taken out frequenly, he always does what's expected of him.
Since he is so young, he will probably be easy to train. Seth will
not be placed in a home with children under the age of 12 or with a dog
weighing more than 20 pounds. Seth’s adoption donation is $200,
and he is being fostered in
Birmingham

Alabama
. We do approve out of state adoptions, but the adopter must be
willing to drive to the foster home to “fetch” the new family member.
