Gemma is a creamy brown, American Bull Mix.  She has large, melting hazel brown eyes and loves people.  She was abandoned and spent two weeks at the Animal Rescue Center.  I agreed to foster her even though I have a 14 year old, cantankerous, 6 pound toy poodle who doesn't get along with other dogs.  I can't keep her long term because I have to keep them separated.  She was just too sweet to let her be dispatched.

She does well in the house, doesn't chew, doesn't have accidents.  As noted above, she doesn't do well with a small, yappy dog, or with cats.  

She wants to play ball, go for nice long walks, and snuggle beside someone or sit at their feet.  If you would like a dog for agility training, she's your girl.  She is fairly small, but very agile.  She sailed over a couch to catch a ball, and can make it from my side fence to the deck in two leaps.  I kenneled her while I was gone for five days.  Her report card from the kennel read:  Day 1 Sweet, Playful;  Day 2 Sweet; Day 3 Happy; Day 4 Joyful; Day 5 Merry.

Gemma is between two and four years old and weighs about 45 pounds, and has spent time with my vet getting wormed, vaccinated, and checked up.  I want to make sure she goes to a home that will keep up heartworm meds, and make sure she exercised and well fed.  She was skin and bones when I rescued her.
