We have been taking care of an abandoned dog.  Her name is Dixie.  She is not spayed, she is a WONDERFUL dog but we can't bring her in, we tried.  She has been an outside dog all her life and she just wants to be outside.  They don't allow outside dogs where we live.  I've dewormed her, and given her 2 flea baths and we feed her and water her.  She is good around kids, and other cats and dogs.  I really wish we could keep her, she is awesome and I love her.  But, I'm in nursing school and work full time and just can't tend to her and train her the way she needs right now.  I'd rather her go to you and try to find her a good home before the landlord calls the pound again and they take her and put her down.  It's urgent.
