Helena has a new subdivision called Hillsboro. Not all construction is complete. Construction workers found a dog in a closet of one of the homes that is still under construction. The dog had no doubt found refuge and went to sleep in the closet.  City Hall was called and the dog was brought to the city’s kennels.

We named the dog “Hillsboro.” He is a shepherd as far as we can tell even though my husband says he has donkey ears. L Parts of his ears are missing and he needs a hair weave. J  Dr. Fuller promised that after some tender loving care and medicine for the mange that Hillsboro will be show dog beautiful. I know he will soon be handsome. Dr. Fuller predicted that Hillsboro managed to break away from a bad master. He said the sores on his hips were ‘bed sores” from being confined and not able to change positions often.

He is VERY gentle and loves car rides. He eats like there is no tomorrow.

He does not bark. He cries. When he knows I am leaving the kennels, he cries as I drive off. He knows how to melt the heart!! He will make a wonderful LOYAL companion for someone.  Please contact Sonya at itssonya@charter.net if you would like to meet this loving boy.
