Daisy
was found running down the middle of 280 a little over a month ago and
after tireless attempts to find the owner we have had no such luck. She
had a collar but no tags and the vet couldn’t find a micro-chip. Daisy
is a sweetheart and has grown quite dear to us but we already have three
dogs and they don’t exactly get along so we have to keep them
separated, otherwise it would be tempting to keep her. Daisy is a
cheerful little girl that is very sweet and docile with us. She loves to
go for walks and does very good on a leash. She has been staying in our
guest room during the days and has not had a single accident and was
likely an inside dog with her previous owner. The vet checked her out
and said she looks good and weighed in at about 25lbs. We got her
up-to-date on vaccinations and rabies shots. I have the paperwork as
well. She does not look to be spayed. The
only negative, that I alluded to is she does not like other
dogs. I think with work that she could overcome this but she may
be best suited for home that doesn’t currently have other pets.
Feeling like we had run out of options, I took her to the humane society
but in realizing that they do euthanize, in contradiction to what I had
been told, I couldn’t bear the thought of this sweet girl not finding
a great loving home. I know she will make a great pet, friend, and
companion for someone. |
